Your application will be evaluated first for the basic qualifications described above. The applications that meet the basic qualifications will be evaluated further against the following criteria:
- Skill in analyzing budgetary relationships and developing recommendations for budgetary actions under conditions of time pressure and uncertainty due to: rapidly changing program and budgetary deadlines and objectives; gaps and conflicts in program and budgetary information; conflicting program and budgetary objectives.
- Knowledge of the various funding types; methods of funding; and budgetary and financial relationships between the assigned budget(s) and programs of other agency components and organizations.
- Knowledge of governing budgetary policies, precedent setting decisions, procedures, and regulations issued to assure that budget forecasts, estimates, and submissions conform to
requirements, guidelines, and financial objectives.
- Knowledge of databases in order to locate and analyze data pertaining to the budgets for substantive programs.
