Duties

The Building Support Technician (Office Cleaning) performs a variety of office cleaning duties of the Supreme Court Building and the Court's off-site facilities. Cleans offices, storerooms, corridors, stairways, meeting spaces, exhibit areas, library reading rooms/snack areas, and/or other assigned areas by sweeping and mopping floors. Operate lightweight vacuum cleaner, uses mops, brushes, brooms, cloths, wax and other cleaning solutions. Maintains restrooms in clean, orderly, and sanitary condition. Performs other duties as required. Work hours are 4:00 pm until 12:30 am, Monday - Friday.

Qualifications

Prior office cleaning experience is desirable. Knowledge of general office cleaning and the various cleaning materials used. Ability to follow oral and written detailed instructions. Capable of moderate physical effort and prolonged walking, standing, stretching, kneeling and bending. Knowledge of how to avoid safety hazards. Ability to perform under pressure, communicate and interact in a professional and cooperative manner.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
