Master's degree from a program accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Education Programs or an equivalent degree;
OR Master's degree from a program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Marriage and Family Therapy Education or an equivalent degree;
OR Master's degree in Social Work from a graduate school of Social Work accredited by the Council on Social Work Education or an equivalent degree;
OR Doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology from an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited university or professional school and a 1-year APA accredited clinical internship;
AND
Possess a current and unrestricted license or certification that provides legal authority to provide clinical services as an independent practitioner in the fields of Licensed Professional Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Clinical Social Work, Clinical Psychology or Counseling Psychology AND 2 years, full-time clinical experience post independent licensure or certification;
AND
A minimum of 2 years of direct experience in the prevention intervention, or treatment of child abuse or domestic abuse, or the provision of maternal or child health support services;
AND
At least five (5) years of specialized experience providing administrative support with the Department of Defense (DoD) program operations.
The incumbent must meet Tier III qualification requirements described in SECNAVINST, "Credentials Review and Clinical Privileging of Clinical Providers within Department of the Navy Family Readiness Program."
This position may require the incumbent to work hours beyond the normal duty day, depending on mission needs, including evening and weekend hours.
This position is designated Non-Critical Sensitive. Incumbents are required to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance of access for the duration of employment which includes a background investigation and credit check.
This position requires a Childcare National Agency Check and Inquiries (CNACI). Incumbents must complete the Questionnaire for Public Trust Positions, and successfully complete an FBI criminal history background check with no adverse information or feedback received.
An Installation Records Check (IRC) is also required for those with prior DoD affiliation to determine suitability in accordance with criteria for automatic and presumptive disqualifiers as reflected in DoD Instruction, "Background Checks on Individuals in DoD Childcare Services Programs".
This position requires the incumbent to successfully complete and maintain credentialing and privileging requirements in accordance with SECNAV Instruction "Credentials Review and Clinical Privileging of Clinical Providers within Department of the Navy Family Readiness Program."
This position requires the incumbent to be licensed and certified by a state or U.S. territory to function as an independent practitioner and have attained specified additional clinical experience post-independent licensure or certification.
This position requires Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel approximately 10% of the time away from normal duty station, for up to two weeks for the purpose of attending or providing trainings.
This position requires routine on-site access to government facilities. The incumbent may perform the required tasks at an off-site location for situational telework only.
