Summary

This position is for a Computer Assistant, PD# T5505000, part of the Nevada National Guard. The purpose of this position is to serve as a technical subject matter expert and full time advisor to the commander for the organization as a well as the project leader for major newtork systems.

Your qualifications will be evaluated on the following competencies (knowledge, skills, abilities and other characteristics):

1. Knowledge, skill, and ability to: Integrate and maintain the organizational automation consisting of the distribution and connectivity requirements of the various recruiting and retention automation systems

2. Knowledge and ability to possess and maintain necessary accreditation documentation for all recruiting and retention information systems and work stations in order to maintain compliance with HHQ requirements

3. Ability to manage appropriate access to recruiting and retention systems and conduct necessary technical support to end users for systems that include: Recruiter Zone, ARISS, ABS computers, REQUEST, FAZR, PER as well as various other Recruiting and Retention Information Systems

4. Ability to manage and implement information systems requirements from USAREC, NVARNG and NGB

5. Knowledge and skills to manage ABS computer systems originating from USAREC at Ft. Knox, KY

6. Ability to coordinate and interact with NVARNG G6 for network access
