Summary

This position serves as a Technologist in the Department of Justice (DOJ), Office of Legal Policy (OLP), in Washington, D.C. The mission of OLP is to develop and implement the Department's significant policy initiatives, handle special projects that implicate the interests of multiple Department components, coordinate with other interested Department components and other Executive Branch agencies, and serve as the primary policy advisor to the Attorney General and the Deputy Attorney General.

This position is being filled under the OPM Government-Wide Direct Hire Authority in support of EO 14110 for certain Artificial Intelligence related positions for grades GS 9 and above. This serves as a public notice for the use of the Direct Hire Authority in accordance with 5 U.S.C. 3327 and 3330 and 5 CFR 330. This public notice may be used to fill multiple positions as needed; therefore, applicants must meet the qualifications at the time the applications are reviewed.
