As a Data Lifecycle Specialist for CIA, you will focus on enabling organizational data management and information systems, aimed at increasing discoverability and retrievability, facilitating dissemination, ensuring the delivery of timely and relevant intelligence, and the review and release of information to the public. The work covers every aspect of the management lifecycles of data and records, from planning to preservations or disposal. You will be designing search strategies, to facilitate consumption and integration across a variety of data entities and digital systems, as well as providing guidance to users of information management systems. This also includes cataloging, storing, and maintaining records and data, consistent with Federal Records Act and Executive order requirements, to ensure accountability, appropriate access, and mitigation of risk. Data Lifecycle Specialists also review and analyze information to determine releasability, to include providing classification guidance to information owners and leveraging tools to review digital products for release.
