MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in Human Resource (HR) Management, Business or Public Administration, Court Management or a related field; six (6) years of experience in a full range of human resource functions, including at least three (3) years in a supervisory or managerial capacity leading staff responsible for a full range of human resources policies, programs and operations. Must demonstrate experience in at least three (3) of the following human resources areas: talent acquisition, benefits administration, employee relations, position classification, workforce planning, data analysis and performance management.
Graduation from the DC Court's Management Training Program may be substituted for one (1) year of supervisory experience. You must provide documentation of your management training (i.e. copy of certificate) with your application.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Masters degree in Human Resources, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Business Administration or closely related field
- Society for Human Resources Management - Senior Certified Professional or Senior Professional in Human Resources or Human Resources Certification Institute certification
- Experience leading a customer focused, multi-functional organization’s human resources program in developing and implementing improvements to human resources programs and service delivery to meet strategic goals.
