The right person for this job will be an attorney possessing exceptional writing skills and employment law-related experience, and who is an outstanding manager. Applicants should have excellent academic credentials, possess superior oral and written communication skills and some litigation experience, preferably at least 5 years. Ideal candidates will also have a background that includes several of the following:
- Broad knowledge and expertise in labor, employment, and civil service law;
- Broad knowledge and expertise in the administrative rulemaking process;
- Legislative, congressional and/or government relations experience;
- Prior supervisory experience.
