Duties
- Responsible for all aspects of food and beverage control to include inventory management; food and beverage cost analysis and controls; variance analysis and reporting; sensitive item inventory control and analysis; scheduling and payroll cost analysis; and internal control for point of sale, inventory and beverage control systems.
- Studies food and beverage activities to provide advisory services to operating managers and members of management.
- Interviews personnel; researches records; reviews reports, financial statements, and inventory records to gather data.
- Observes and analyzes mission, organization, work processes, methods, procedures, etc. to recommend improvement of present practices to improve revenue, reduce costs and improve customer satisfaction.
- May supervise assigned staff.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS MUST BE CLEARLY VERIFIABLE IN YOUR RESUME. GOVERNMENT POSITIONS MUST INCLUDE PAY PLAN, SERIES, GRADE, TO AND FROM DATES, AND GOVERNMENT AGENCY/DEPARTMENT. All qualification requirements must include experience performing duties equivalent in scope and complexity to the next lower grade level.
- Strong analytical skills and advanced abilities with spreadsheet functions are required.
- Food and beverage controller, food and beverage management or food and beverage operations experience strongly preferred.
- Accounting experience or education preferred.
