Duties
- Responsible for reconciling monthly and annual income statements. Performs review of monthly and annual balance sheet
accounts and reports findings to the Finance Manager. Maintains fixed assets’ ledger with straight line depreciation.
- Develops, monitors, reviews and analyzes financial statements and financial data as required to assist management in decision making.
- Assist in the formulation, execution and monitoring of operating and capital budgets in accordance with CWF guidelines.
- Responsible for the accuracy of accounting transactions and timeliness of accounting related documents. Maintains subsidiary ledgers for revenue, accounts receivable, accounts payable, accruals, prepaid and fixed assets.
- Determines
that all transactions are properly processed in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles, NAF accounting requirements and Defense Finance and Accounting services regulations

- NSA Requirements: Incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain access to National Security Agency facilities and networks. Incumbent may be subject to polygraph testing and must meet NSA personnel security requirements as outlined in NSA/CSS Policy.
- Appointment is subject to successful completion and favorable results of fingerprints, Installation Record Checks, and a Credit Check to determine suitability for this position.
- Appointment is subject to successful completion and ability to maintain a favorable Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) and/or polygraph examination to determine suitability for this position.
- Test Designated Position: in accordance with NSA Policy and Executive Order 12564 this position is
subject to random drug testing as a condition of employment.
- Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier 3 background investigation.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Progressively responsible work experience that includes a practical application of the above described or related work experience and the following:
1. Must have six (6) months demonstrable work experience preparing operating budgets, administration of payroll and conducting financial analysis on Non appropriated Fund (NAF) Financial Statements to determine variances, trends, and projections.
2. Must have knowledge applying the theories, principles, practices, and techniques of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
3. Must have facilitated at least one (1) complete Management Internal Controls Program (MICP) to ensure compliance with Army Regulations.
4. Must have knowledge and experience designing and managing recurring reports and electronic databases.
5. Must be able to communicate in a clear, concise, and grammatically correct manner.
Highly Preferred:
- Possess a bachelor's degree or higher in accounting or other related field such as finance, or business administration.
- Successfully completed 24 semester hours in accounting AND possess three (3) years of working experience in business and/or Non-Appropriated Fund Instrumentality (NAFI) financial accounting.
