Duties
Designs and executes graphic elements, layouts, and printed and/or digital media using Adobe Creative Cloud software programs. Plans and executes the development of graphic designs in Adobe Creative Cloud software programs for small and largescale campaigns, and branding projects in coordination with the presentation of printed and/or digital media. Provides digital campaign materials for the website, various social media platforms, digital newsletters, tvs, large monitors and marquees. Updates the marquees internally as needed. Must be able to manage documents on the web site on a real-time basis, troubleshoot and resolve problems. Design and implement web formatted designs in a Content Management System (CMS) platform. Designs digital and print publications to include the Life in 29 digital newsletter, the annual Guide Book and the Business Development Kit. All creative materials designed are to follow MCCS branding and style guides and receive review and guidance from supervisor. Creates, produces and delivers in house professional signs, posters, banners, cut vinyl, as well as designs for outsourced largescale materials and smaller prints like business cards and postcards. The variety of in house and outsource materials are used for creating campaigns that increase sales and promote program participation. Works closely with the Digital Media Manager to ensure programs and events are disseminated to reach target audiences. Occasionally works at special events and provides photographic support for MCCS functions. Provides World Class Customer Service with an emphasis on courtesy. Assists customers and communicates positively in a friendly manner. Acknowledges customers, smiles and makes eye contact. Asks questions to determine, verify and solve problems. Checks for satisfaction on the quality of goods and services. Takes action to solve problems quickly. Alerts the higher-level supervisor, or proper point of contact for help when problems arise.
Adheres to safety regulations and standards. Uses required safety equipment and observes safe work procedures. Promptly reports any observed workplace hazards, and any injury, occupational illness, and/or property damage resulting from workplace mishaps to the immediate supervisor. Adheres to established standards of actively supporting the principles of the EEO program and prevention of sexual harassment. Performs other related duties as assigned.

EVALUATIONS:
Qualifications
Three years of experience preferred that demonstrates knowledge directly related to the above duties. A Bachelors degree in Graphic Design or other related field is a plus. Graphic Artist must have strong computer skills with knowledge and experience working with the following software programs: Photoshop (advanced), Illustrator (intermediate), In Design (intermediate) and CMS (advanced). HTML and XML coding a plus. Photography skills is a plus. Must possess strong creative written and oral communication skills as well as skills in conceptualizing, strong layout, composition, and understanding of design components (typography, grid, imagery, hierarchy, space). Ability to organize workload and meet tight production deadlines while juggling multiple jobs. Graphic Artist must have the ability to focus on the details and also see the big picture of the work and what the clients¿ needs are. Must have motivation and a great deal of initiative and flair for Graphic Design and marketing. This is a white-collar position where occasional lifting up to 20 lbs. may be required. Must possess a valid drivers license.
