Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications for the GS-07 Grade Level: Applicants must have one year of specialized experience at the GS-05 grade level (or equivalent) working in an HR environment, while performing the following activities:
- Providing customer support related to human resources information systems, processes, or requirements.
- Responding to customer requests and tracking help desk tickets or user issues to support resolution.
- Preparing or updating user guides, job aids, training materials, or other documentation related to system functions or procedures.
- Assisting with system testing, customer training, or gathering user feedback related to system functionality.
OR
Have one year of graduate level education in human resources, business, public administration, or another closely related field which provided the knowledge, skills, and abilities to do the work of the position.
OR
Have a Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, public administration, or another closely related field that qualifies for superior academic achievement (as described in the vacancy announcement).
OR
Have a combination of specialized experience and graduate level education as described above that when combined totals 100% of the requirements
Minimum Qualifications for the GS-09 Grade Level: Applicants must have one year of specialized experience at the GS-07 grade level (or equivalent) working in an HR environment, while performing the following activities
- Providing customer support and guidance related to human resources information systems, processes, or requirements.
- Reviewing customer requests, help desk tickets, or user feedback to identify issues, trends, and potential solutions.
- Gathering and documenting customer requirements to support system changes, enhancements, or business processes.
- Assisting with system testing, training, and the development of user guides, job aids, or other customer support materials.
OR
Have a Master's degree in human resources, business, public administration, or another closely related field.
OR
Have two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Master's or equivalent degree in human resources, business, public administration, or another closely related field.
OR
Have a combination of specialized experience and graduate level education as described above that when combined totals 100% of the requirements. (Please note: Only graduate education in excess of the first 18 semester hours may be used in this calculation.)
