For all positions individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below. The employing

A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower NNSA pay band level or GS grade level in the Federal Service, i.e., NQ-03 or GS-14. Specialized experience for this position is defined as experience serving as a Subject Matter Expert with the authority and responsibility for overseeing the development and utilization of cybersecurity IT systems and operations; and/or; experience managing all aspects of the overall Information Security programs to include: long-range policy and development; program development, identifying operational needs; serving as an organizational primary representative for IT programs/projects.
Examples of Specialized Experience:
1. Experience in IT systems design, system controls, and project management techniques to perceive vulnerabilities.
2. Experience using the principles of cyber security and development of cyber security policy, procedures, and standards.
3. Experience making recommendations to senior leadership concerning overall plans and proposals for complex IT project, related
to ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of operations and timely resource provisioning.
