IT Student Trainee

Overview

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the development, delivery, and support of IT systems within the NAS under the guidance of experienced professionals.
Perform a variety of IT-related tasks, applying principles such as data storage, software applications, and networking.
Contribute by collecting, recording, and analyzing data, and identifying potential issues for analysis.
Work closely with team leaders and managers to prioritize assignments and resources effectively.
Engage with internal project teams and occasionally external partners to enhance IT solutions.

Requirements

Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
Currently enrolled in a degree program related to Information Technology at least on a half-time basis.
Completion of at least one full academic year beyond high school.
Meet the Federal Employment qualification standards.

Education

Applicants must provide transcripts to verify at least one year of post-high school study and ongoing enrollment in a qualifying degree program. Official transcripts will be required upon offer of employment.
