Duties
-Execute strategic and tactical implementation of SCRM from conceptual to existing SCRM Network and capabilities. Provide inputs to OSD, Sister Services, other agencies and DAF policy to further define SCRM.
-Manage a contractor team to support First Look due diligence capability within VAULT that is utilized by programs to meet their DAFI 63-101/20-101 SCRM requirements. Maintain the AFMC SCRM Network around Center Focal Points and Capability Providers to meet the diverse needs of DAF programs across multi-functional domains.
-Manage the AFMC SCRM Risk Register, Case Management, and Enterprise Risk identification. Manage multiple DAF SCRM incidents, providing leadership, continuity, and active communications between 9+ PEOs, AFMC, and SAF/AQ (AQR, AQX, AQD, CNZ) to characterize, understand, and mitigate enterprise risks.
- Performs logistical support, ensuring operations comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs.
-Develops goals and objectives that integrate organization objectives.
-Researches, interprets, analyzes and applies appropriate laws, guidelines, policies, regulations, etc.
-Oversees policies and procedures for accomplishment of assigned life cycle workload, to include; design and development, procurement, production, storage, distribution, maintenance, transportation, utilization, and disposal of material throughout the logistics life cycle.
-Reviews organizational mission, functions, and manning.
-Participates in projects and initiatives and performs special assignments. Identifies the need for special projects and initiates logistics milestones and goals.
-Evaluates reports by analyzing facts and performing appropriate research and prepares detailed responses.
-Represents the organization with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.
-Contributes to and maintains effective working relationships with management levels and all coordinating agencies.
-Meets with key customer and coordinating officials to assess customer satisfaction, explain organization policy and procedures, and resolve problems that arise.
-Prepares and delivers written correspondence and oral presentations used to secure support for program budget, resolve controversial issues, convey proposed changes to assigned programs, and provide critical status to senior leaders.
-Develops and prepares a variety of correspondence and other documentation, i.e., complex program specifications, documents, formal letters, position papers, reports, staff summary packages, briefings, charts, background papers, etc.
-Representing the Directorate, independently interacts with high-level Center, MAJCOM, contractor representatives, and senior Air Staff leaders on program issues and status.

Qualifications
Experience requirements are described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have, or within 120 days of the closing date of this announcement will have, at least 1 year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at the next lower broadband NH-03, equivalent to the next lower grade GS-13 or equivalent in other pay systems. Specialized experience is described as: directing, developing, or performing logistics management operations that involve planning, coordinating, or evaluating the logistical actions required to support a specified mission, weapons system, or other designated program. Assisted with or independently planned, organized, and oversaw the activities of the organization, ensuring that logistics management related operations comply with all legal and regulatory requirements and meet the customer's needs. Assisted with the development or independently developed and adjusted short and long term priorities and goals.
NOTE: Due to the use of 120-day rosters, this period of experience may be completed within 120 days of the closing date of this announcement.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
1. Knowledge of the applicable logistics management principles, concepts, policies, and laws; logistics functions, programs, and systems applicable to the duties of position; sources, responsibilities, and means for providing assistance and advice to resolve logistics problems, and all aspects of integrated logistics support.
