Summary
Prepares a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks by selecting proper premix and garnish where a working knowledge of the various mixed drinks is required.
Duties
Sets up bar for operation. Washes bar equipment, glassware, and utensils. Responsible for maintaining bar in clean condition and keeping the bar properly stocked. Required to assist in stocking bar and serve at catered parties. Must have working knowledge of sanitation procedures.
Irregular working hours will be required to include early shift, late shift, evenings, weekends and holidays.
Performs other related duties as required.

- Must successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check. Any discrepancies must be resolved as a condition of employment.
- Must meet federal suitability requirements including successful completion of background investigation.
- Must walk or stand for prolonged periods of time. Uses dolly to transport beer kegs.
- Work schedule is flexible and will vary as required by the needs of the program to include night, weekend, and holiday shifts as well as split days off.
- May have or obtain and maintain the following certification within 90 days of hire: Food Handlers and/or C.A.R.E (Controlling Alcohol Risks Effectively).
- Frequent light to moderate lifting and carrying objects weighing 5 to 15 pounds, pushing and pulling objects weighing 10 to 20 pounds and occasionally lifting up to and over 40 pounds.
- Must meet minimum state age requirements to prepare/serve alcohol.

A qualified candidate possess the following:
- Incumbent is required to have knowledge and skill to mix and serve beverages.
- Must have the ability to recognize intoxicated or unruly persons and resolve problems or seek assistance if need.
- Ability to collect tabs or chits in appropriate amounts and reconcile them with the quantities and prices of items dispensed.
- Must be able to lift up to 40lbs.
- Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively in English both verbally and in writing.
Education
A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
