Specialized Experience GS-12
You must possess the specialized experience that has provided the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. To qualify for the GS-12 grade level, you must possess the specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in Federal service or comparable experience not gained through Federal service (equivalent private/public sector experience) performing duties such as:
- Implement tools, systems, processes, and procedures to enable the measurement of short-and long- term organizational performance objectives aligned with strategic goals.
- Collaborate with functional leadership within I&A Mission Centers to monitor and measure both qualitative and quantitative benchmarks associated with the production and analysis of both raw and finished intelligence outputs.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE GS-13
You must possess the specialized experience that has provided the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. To qualify for the GS-13 grade level, you must possess the specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in Federal service or comparable experience not gained through Federal service (equivalent private/public sector experience) performing duties such as:
- Implement tools, systems, processes, and procedures to enable the measurement of short-and long- term organizational performance objectives aligned with strategic goals.
- Collaborate with functional leadership within I&A Mission Centers to monitor and measure both qualitative and quantitative benchmarks associated with the production and analysis of both raw and finished intelligence outputs.
- Work together with performance measurement counterparts throughout the Department, IE, other IC agencies and Governmental entities to facilitate the internal adoption of best practices and broader intergovernmental alignment of resources, priorities, and techniques.

Substitution of education in lieu of specialized experience may not be used for this grade level.

Note: Current or former Federal employees
MUST submit a copy of their SF-50 Form which shows competitive and excepted service appointment ("position occupied" block 34 on the SF-50 should show a "1"), tenure group (block 24 should show a 1 or 2), grade, and salary. If you are applying for a higher grade, please provide the SF-50 Form which shows the length of time you have been in your current/highest grade (
examples of appropriate SF-50s include promotions, With-in Grade/Range Increases, and SF-50s dated a year apart within the same grade/job). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

This position may be filled at the GS-12 or GS-13 level. If selection is made at the GS-12 level, promotion to the GS-13 level may occur without further competition.
