In addition to the Basic Requirements, you must also meet the Minimum Qualifications stated below.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
GS-06: Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year pf specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-05 level in the Federal service as described in the vacancy announcement. Examples include: A thorough understanding and extensive knowledge of the methods, techniques and practices appropriate to medical technology and their practical application to clinical laboratory work. Skill in calibrating and operating analytical instruments sufficient to independently perform recurring tests and analyses. Understanding of related disciplines such as microbiology, chemistry, physiology, anatomy and their relationship to medical technology.
GS-07: Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-06 grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks: performs a wide range of clinical laboratory tests/examinations; performing of laboratory procedures involving the use of methods, technique, instructions or other processes; withdrawing appropriate quantities of blood by vein punctures; performing preventative maintenance, periodic inspection and performance testing of equipment and instruments.

completed 1 year (18 semester hours) of graduate education that is directly related to the work of the position.
