You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
For the
GS-15, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the
GS-14 grade level in the Federal service
. Specialized Experience for this position includes:
- Drafting, analyzing or responding to reports of examination or similar regulatory and supervisory information regarding compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) or white collar / financial / emerging technology violations investigations, including but not limited to virtual asset service providers, money service businesses, banks and depository institutions, broker-dealers and issuers of securities, and/or non-bank financial institution;
OR
- Reviewing, developing or implementing compliance programs used by financial institutions related to assessment, implementation, or imposition of Anti-Money Laundering / Countering the Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT) compliance programs (also commonly referred to as Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) compliance programs), Suspicious Activity Report (SAR) filing obligations, or other laws and regulations involving financial crimes, including but not limited to similar laws and regulations such as laws involving white collar /or financial crimes enforced by the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) or the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), or related AML/CFT laws supervised by the Federal functional regulators and self-regulatory agencies including the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), National Credit Union Association (NCUA), U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), or Commodities Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) ;
OR
- Establishing and directing supervisory or compliance related policies and priorities related to assessment, implementation, or imposition of Anti-Money Laundering / Countering the Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT) compliance programs (also commonly referred to as Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) compliance programs), Suspicious Activity Report (SAR) filing obligations, or other laws and regulations involving financial crimes through engagement, training, implementation, scoping, guidance or outreach.
The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or
