About the Role

We're seeking a dedicated Physical Security Specialist to assist in developing and implementing physical security policies to protect Coast Guard assets and personnel. Your contributions will be vital in reviewing existing policies and introducing innovative security practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical expert for creating new security policies.
• Evaluate current security practices and recommend improvements.
• Organize and coordinate briefings and information sharing sessions.
• Conduct risk assessments, and prepare reports on findings and recommendations.
• Resolve policy conflicts and prepare compliance reports.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Top-Secret security clearance necessary.
• At least one year of specialized experience, equivalent to GS-12 level.
• Proven expertise in physical security program analysis and policy development.

Conditions of Employment

• Subject to background investigation.
• Participation in the Department of Homeland Security Drug-Free Workplace Program.
• Availability for potential probationary period.
