Applicant must have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies/knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position.
You must have specialized experience sufficient to demonstrate that you have acquired all the competencies necessary to perform at a level equivalent in difficulty, responsibility, and complexity to the next lower grade GS/GG-13 in the Federal service and are prepared to take on greater responsibility.

This position requires interpretation and application of a broad range of interrelated financial management functions and processes, such as strategic planning, requirements management, product development, rate setting, and performance metrics to drive alignment between the strategic planning and the PPBE processes to inform the POM phase submittal to ensure adherence to the Defense Planning Guidance (DPG). The incumbent collaborates across DCSA on behalf of OCIO with senior leaders, program managers, project leaders, branch chiefs and other key personnel to keep stakeholders fully informed of budget operational details, schedules, and costs. Coordinates budget, requirements and resource alignment actions of multiple organizational elements and events and consolidates information to provide overall detailed guidance and direction during multi-phased PPBE cycles and execution alignment of current Agency/OCIO strategic goals and acquisition activities.
Specifically you will be evaluated on the following competencies:
- Budget Execution- Manage budget requirements by allocating, monitoring and analyzing budgets in compliance with DoD and other statutory/regulatory guidance.
