The CHIPS Program Office, located within the National Institute of Standards and Technology is seeking a highly experienced professional to join the senior leadership of its Risk Team. The CHIPS Incentives Program is helping strengthen the United States' economic and national security by supporting investments in domestic semiconductor manufacturing. The Senior Risk Officer will have an opportunity to contribute to this historic mission by helping identify, evaluate, manage, and monitor risks across its incentives portfolio. Serving as a member of an executive leadership team. The Senior Risk Officer provides strategic leadership for risk management activities across the organization. The position brings an enterprise-wide risk perspective to significant program and investment decisions and works closely with the CHIPS Investment Team to evaluate and structure CHIPS grants and loans. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in one or more of the following areas: enterprise risk management, investment risk, credit risk, portfolio management, compliance, financial analysis, transaction structuring, corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, consulting, or related fields The position is located in Washington, DC, and may be filled at either the ZA-0340-V level, with an annual salary range of $169,279 to $197,200, or the CHIPS 25 AD-0000-00 level, with an annual salary range of $220,000 to $292,300.
