Qualifications
To qualify for pay band 4C you must meet the following:
Qualifying experience for Pay Band 4C includes one year of specialized experience (comparable to the Pay Band 5 or GS-9 or equivalent non-federal experience), which is directly related to the work of this position, and which has equipped the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. For this position, examples of specialized experience are: performing confidential and special assignments for the senior executives; preparing briefings, background materials and related items for meetings, conferences, or other events/opportunities; planning executive travel, including itinerary development, administrative and logistical items (visas, hotel booking, etc.), scheduling briefing materials, and interagency and intergovernmental coordination; maintaining electronic calendar and contact databases; preparing daily briefing books; scheduling appointments, meetings, and conferences for the senior staff; using automated systems and databases (i.e. Microsoft Office products, SharePoint, case management system) to schedule meetings, create presentations and maintain case files; and responding to, initiating and editing executive communications, reports and documents for the senior staff approval. Note: This experience MUST be well documented within your resume or application..
OR
Applicant may qualify based on having a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree. Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work.
OR
Applicant may qualify based on having 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree. Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work.
OR
Applicant may qualify based on having a LL.M., if related. Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work.

- RECRUITMENT/RELOCATION BONUS may be authorized for this position. If you are not a current federal employee this position may authorize a one time Recruitment bonus to be paid over a specified period. Selected individual will be required to a sign service agreement prior to receiving any bonus payments.

How you will be evaluated
You will be evaluated for this job based on how well you meet the qualifications above.
