Summary

Join the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Shared Service Center! We're looking for talented professionals to help deliver solutions that support federal agencies nationwide. As a Supervisory HR Specialist (Account Manager) at the GS-0201-14, you will be part of OPM's Federal Talent Management Center. If selected, you will manage customer accounts, deliver reimbursable services, advise agencies on service needs, and oversee agreements and strategies for services and records management.

Duties

  • Manage customer relationships for employee services and records management products and services.
  • Coordinate implementation and ongoing service delivery for customer agencies.
  • Provide technical advice on human resources business processes, service needs, and customer issues.
  • Recommend service configurations, process improvements, and communication approaches.
  • Draft, review, and approve service agreements, project proposals, implementation plans, and customer communications.
  • Support business planning, market analysis, pricing, billing, and account-management infrastructure.
  • Coordinate with program, technical, communications, and customer stakeholders to resolve service-delivery issues.

Qualifications

For the GS14: You must have at least one year (52 weeks, full-time) of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level in the Federal service (or comparable level of experience from outside the Federal service) performing ALL of the following duties:

  1. Coordinating human resources service-delivery activities by tracking priorities, monitoring progress, addressing customer needs, or ensuring completion of service commitments;
  2. Managing customer relationships for human resources services by gathering requirements, coordinating implementation activities, or following up on operational issues;
  3. Advising customers, program officials, or stakeholders on human resources business processes, service options, implementation approaches, or process improvements;
  4. Overseeing the development of service agreements, statements of work, project proposals, implementation plans, or customer communications to ensure they define services, deliverables, timelines, costs, or performance measures; and
  5. Coordinating with program, technical, financial, or customer stakeholders to address service-delivery concerns, recommend process improvements, or improve customer support.

Merit promotion applicants must meet time-in-grade requirement as defined in 5 CFR 300, Subpart F. One year at the GS-13 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS 14 level.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
