Summary
This position is located at Departmental Offices, Management CFO- Info Systems and CIO. As a Supervisory IT Specialist (INFOSEC), you will support the mission of the Cyber Security Program by providing leadership across the Department for the development, planning, and management of Treasury's security policies, procedures, and standards for all Treasury information systems to include classified (collateral) and unclassified (sensitive) systems.

Duties
As a Supervisory IT Specialist (INFOSEC), you will:
- Develop and recommend strategic direction for Treasury IT national security and policy-related cyber security activities and management of staff and resources.
- Provide leadership and planning to develop and implement a disciplined cyber security management strategy which focuses on managing risk, optimizing cost-effectiveness, measuring performance, and ensuring alignment with Treasury's Enterprise Architecture.
- Lead ACIO-CS activities for addressing Department-wide issues and obstacles to achieving IT security goals and objectives for securing national security systems and developing and maintaining effective and up-to-date security policy.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with current and potential stakeholders.
- Identify, keep abreast of, and disseminate industry and technology best practices and integrate these into policies, processes and procedures as appropriate.

Key Requirements:
- Must be U.S. Citizen or U.S. National.
- A one-year supervisory or managerial probationary period may be required.
- Must successfully complete a background investigation.

Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: For the GS-15, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service . Specialized Experience for this position includes:
- Executing enterprise level IT or cybersecurity related acquisition projects; AND
- Developing acquisition strategies and plans; AND
- Executing cybersecurity technical system specifications and requirements; AND
- Project management techniques to develop, promulgate and implement objectives, principles, policies, procedures and standards associated with enterprise IT or cybersecurity systems.
The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. In addition to specialized experience, individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed
below.
