Summary

This position is in the Office of Audits (AUD) which is part of the Office of Inspector General (OIG) for the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Agency for Global Media (USAGM).  AUD has the responsibility for planning, conducting, supervising, and coordinating audits and evaluations of key programs located domestically and overseas.  Projects can be performed to determine compliance with applicable laws or economy and efficiency and/or achievement of programs.

  • Knowledge of theories, practices, methods, professional standards, and techniques in performing audits and evaluations.  
  • Skill in planning, coordinating, and conducting audits and evaluations.
  • Ability to quantitatively and qualitatively assess data related to an audit or evaluation.
  • Ability to communicate verbally in a manner that is appropriate for a given audience. 
  • Ability to effectively communicate in writing to develop clear, concise, and accurate reports in a manner appropriate for the type of audience.
