Duties
Applies knowledge and experience of subject matter within the domains of security, emergency preparedness, and continuity. Conducts basic analysis and research with sufficient fidelity to make recommendations for decision-making. Maintains situational awareness of subject matter within scope of directorate. Develops and presents analytic products with audience-appropriate delivery. Prepares written reports to examine products and services, identify issues, and design concepts for operational use. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Other Duties/ Responsibilities - Required to be available at all times for sudden recall in response to emergency events affecting the Senate campus/community, and deployment to alternate locations for up to 30 days.
Required Work Experience Required Special Skills/ Knowledge - Microsoft Office suite utilization.
- Time and project management competency in support of essential Senate functions.
- Technical writing and oral communications proficiency.

Working Conditions - Since this position requires onsite presence in support of the U.S. Senate when in session, this position requires the employee to be available and prepared to work during government shutdowns, in inclement weather, on holidays, and during late night, overnight, and weekend sessions. In the context of government furloughs, this position is considered excepted.

Security Clearance - This position requires that the applicant obtain and maintain a Top Secret / SCI U.S. Government security clearance.

Education
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
