Basic Requirements
- Degree: biological sciences, agriculture, natural resource management, chemistry, or related disciplines appropriate to the position.
OR
- Combination of education and experience: Courses equivalent to a major, as shown in A above, plus appropriate experience or additional education.
ZP-IV: In Addition: All applicants must have one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at the GS-12 level (ZP-III at NIST). Specialized experience is defined as experience Computational Biology, Machine learning, Biotechnology, Computer, experience evaluating or developing specialized chem-bio AI models and experience working with other federal agencies in Computational Biology, Machine learning, Biotechnology, Computer Science, Structural Bioinformatics or closely related field
ZP-V: In Addition: All applicants must have one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at the GS-14 level (ZP-IV at NIST). Specialized experience is defined as experience in Computational Biology, Machine learning, Biotechnology, Computer Science, Structural Bioinformatics or closely related field, experience working with, evaluating, and developing specialized chem-bio AI models and experience communicating with subject matter experts in your domain as well as policymakers
