GS-11 - You can qualify based on your education: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree; OR 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree; OR LL.M., if related; OR one full year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 level; OR have a combination education and experience. Specialized experience is defined as: Experience that involves evaluating moderately complex federal energy regulations and legislation, including the formulation of technical and policy recommendations.
GS-12 - You must have one full year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 level. Specialized experience is defined as: Experience that involves evaluating complex federal energy regulations and legislation, including the formulation of technical and policy recommendations.
