Summary

This position is for a HR SPEC (MIL), PD# T5621000, part of the Nevada National Guard. Position location: Joint Force Headquarters State, Human Resources Office (HRO) - Army National Guard (ARNG) and Air National Guard (ANG). This position is responsibility for the overall management of the state AGR program by providing in-depth human resources management services to ARNG/ANG managers, supervisors and support personnel directly and through subordinate employees.

Your qualifications will be evaluated on the following competencies (knowledge, skills, abilities and other characteristics):

-Must have knowledge of Army systems such as TRANSPROC, IPPS-A and iPERMs.
-Responsible for the administration of voluntary and involuntary separation actions and the timely and accurate retirement actions.
-Performs research and analysis of applicable laws, regulations, policy, etc. for military members separating/retiring from the AGR program and prepares summaries and recommendations for action.
-Ability to communicate both effectively orally and in writing and responds to requests for information in a timely manner.
-Advises management, employees, and/or the public on personnel related matters that can affect the readiness of the organization.
-Performs other duties as assigned such as managing AGR Budget.
