Summary
This position is located the United States Agency for Global Media within Voice of America, East Asia and Pacific Division, Vietnamese Service. The incumbent will serve as Multimedia Specialist and is responsible for producing programs for television, digital media platforms, and other special projects. Incumbent will manage the Service's websites and social media platforms including Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, X, etc.

Duties
As a Multimedia Specialist (Vietnamese), you will be responsible for duties to include, but are not limited to:
- Plans and synthesizes multiple sources of information, soundbites, interviews, video-clips, and still into a broadcast-ready television story.
- Produces and edits video programs for satellite TV and webcast.
- Creates, updates, and writes news articles, educational post, graphics and photo galleries.
- Conducts subject research, based on scripts for the most effective method of presentation.

- This is a national security position. If selected, this position requires the completion of the SF-86.

Qualifications
Screen out factor: Applicant must have fluency in both English and Vietnamese languages that enables you to speak, read, write, report, and translate in both languages. This language screen out factor MUST be listed in your resume to receive consideration.
Applicants must have a minimum of one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility comparable to the GS-11 or comparable pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private sector. Specialized Experience is experience that has equipped the applicant with the knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position.
- Immense ability to conceptualize, manage, and handle the administrative and logistical details of a television production.
- Skills in using broadcast-quality digital cameras and digital editing systems.
- A vast knowledge of Vietnamese history, economics, culture, and socio-political development.
