Summary

This position is for a SUPERVISORY CONTRACT SPECIALIST, PD# T0046000, part of the Nevada National Guard. This position is located at Joint Force Headquarters -United States Property and Fiscal Office (USPFO) Purchasing and Contracting Office only. The purpose is to serve as a Warranted Contracting Officer and to supervise personnel engaged in procuring various supplies, services, information technology, Architect-Engineering Services, and construction.

--Serve as Supervisory Team Leader responsible for management and direction of a staff of contracting officers, contracting specialists, and administrative support personnel.

--Serve as Contracting Officer with monetary authority and responsibility to obligate the United States Government in procurement actions.
-- Serve as the acquisition advisor for the USPFO staff.

--Plan work to be accomplished, interprets policy and procedures, and establishes priorities.

--Ensure legal, technical and administrative adequacy of contracting actions, as well as compliance with applicable regulations, policies and directives.
